PRODUCTS PROVEN TO EASE PAIN

To achieve living a healthier, happier, less pain-filled lifestyle, I have tried many different products, medicines, tips, tricks and foods. I discovered some products that worked to ease my chronic pain and help me tolerate my pain flareups. Some eased my chronic pains a little, some eased my chronic pains alot. Other products helped me tolerate my pains for a little while and others didn't have any impact on the pain at all. There were products that I tried that gave me different levels of relief during pain flareups. I tried different foods and juices to control my chronic pains. This section is where I show you the various products I have tried to help ease my chronic pain condition. Some I used and no longer use as they were replaced by "better" items, some I still use today. There are some products and methods that are on my list of "waiting to try myself" or that have been "recommended by others to try". Like so many others have done, you can find something here to help you as you work to ease your pains and to tolerate your pain flareups better.

One of my favorite all time products is this vibrating belt. I love the sensation that vibration gives me. I have gone thru a lot of vibrating items and this one is still one of the tops. I tend to lean towards vibration therapy for comfort and toleration of my chronic pain on a daily basis. The change in sensation from constant pain is welcome and gives my mind an allie in the fight to ease my pains.

Another item that I've tried and still use to ease my chronic pains are what I call my massage boots. The massage soothes and relaxes you as the air-chambers inflate and deflate. Your whole body will feel rejuvenated. Now you can keep your legs relaxed right at home. While you take it easy, the massage boots stimulate your legs massaging them while you sit back and relax

When I'm just sitting around watching tv or a movie, these boots gently massage my lower legs and feet. Again, in tolerating my pains better, I seem to do well with changes in pressure, topical sensations and temperatures. The gentle squeeze and release not only feels good it helps to keep my circulation working good while I'm sitting/reclining for periods of time watching the game or catching a movie. I even wear them at times when I'm just sitting around talking with family and friends.

The TOE STRETCHERS help ease tension in my toes and make my feet feel better. I have alot of pain in my right foot and during flareups my left foot is engaged also. Using the TOE STRETCHERS helps me tolerate the flareups better and return to a more manageable level of pain quicker.

The EXERCISE BIKE allows me to get exercise for my legs while sitting in a regular chair; very much like a recumbent bike. Standard exercise bikes have that small seat and sitting on them for me, tends to be awkard and causes excessive burning and a grinding sensation in my lower back. I end up with even more pain on a standard exercise bike so being able to sit in a chair or on a recumbent bike is the best way for me to get in my workout. As you know, exercise helps prepare our bodies to fight off the pain and the subsequent pain flareups while dealing with pain conditions.

The next product is a NECK & SHOULDER RECLINER it helps to let me take all the weight off my head, neck and shoulders and allows the muscles to relax which quickly starts to ease the burining pains in my neck an shoulders. Relaxing the neck also eases the tingling pains going to my left arm and my right arm and hand.

The BODY WRAP products make taking your heating pad on the go a do-able thing. I dont have to worry about an electrical outlet when I want heat to deal with the pain in my lower back. I simple place one of the air activated packets in the wrap and put the wrap around my back and waist and I have heat on the spot on the go. This product can also be had to treat KNEES, ELBOWS, SHOULDERS and any other area you can wrap.

The PILLOW SPEAKER is a feel good product. When I'm laying on my pillow trying to meditate, the PILLOW SPEAKER allows my musical selection to play softly into my ears. I can also rock out later on after I've meditated and gotten my pain flareup under control. It's a pretty neat way to have your music to yourself without really bothering those around you.

Then there is the tried and true trusty HEATING PAD. The HEATING PAD is an old time favorite for treating aches and pains. I personally think every household should have at least one good HEATING PAD on hand. If you've ever used a HEATING PAD you will know what I mean when I say heat can be real good for pains that seem to be deep in the muscle or joint. If you can, I recommend getting 2 sizes of HEATING PADS as you will find that the larger pads work very well on the back and for wrapping around a shoulder or thigh.

Cryotherapy Cold Water Therapy system helps reduce pain and swelling and facilitates rehabilitation. Cold water therapy system provides up to 7 hours of continuous cryotherapy for a variety of indications. Cold therapy device uses a patented semi-closed loop system, the cold water therapy system maintains a constant and precise temperature modality. Cold therapy device also comes with a free cold pad.

That's the technical part. I love this recirculator. One note, if you buy this you should also buy the re-useable ice packs. Then you can eliminate buying ice all together. As is you will save tons of money on ice because you fill the cooler with water to the fill line then add ice. After that it will recirculate for up to 8 hours and there have been times when I have gone longer than that. It has a control that lets you set how often the pad is "charged" with cold water so you can have "ice" on and off for as long or as short as you want and can tolerate. To be honest, when I have pain flareups that require me to use my recirculator, I usually have it on overnight and have the pad recirculating on and off while I try to sleep. The cold helps to bring down the burning in my legs, back or feet depending on which area I am targeting. If you use ice to treat any of your pains of any kind, you will fall in love with this unit.

When you're a chronic pain sufferer, running a higher than normal blood pressure is more than likely to happen. Your footwear is critical when you are in pain. As it is you will be slightly twisting and skewing your body to compensate for the part that is in pain. Not having the proper base can lead to additional problems of pain. You can easily aggravate back muscles and start spasms that take you off your feet. Many experts recommend that you replace your footwear every 6 months. I'd like to add, depending on how often you wear your sneakers you may want to replace them as soon as 3 or 4 months.
